The brand takes its name from the 1990s discovery of Ötzi, a Copper Age mummy that was heavily tattooed, with 61 marks on his body, which are the oldest known human tattoos. Ö-61’s labels show tattoo art, and have a QR code on each bottle, which when scanned, tell the story of each of the one. We developed a campaign centered on the culture of tattoo art and its creative and disruptive nature to appeal to this millennial audience, with the tagline: Express Radically.
