Broccato
Packaging Design, Photography
Our long-time partner, Concha y Toro, was looking to create a sparkling wine brand that would resonate with modern consumers and break from the traditional idea that sparkling wine is reserved only for special moments. The product would need to feel elegant, youthful, and versatile - ready to enjoy at home, at a bar, or in more intimate settings - with a strong visual appeal through its packaging and storytelling potential for digital platforms.
Named by DAf as part of the strategic process, Broccato evokes Italian glamour and the ornate richness of brocade fabrics. From this foundation, we built a brand concept rooted in a fresh, contemporary interpretation of celebration. Instead of positioning Broccato as just another sparkling wine for any ‘grand moment’, we looked to redefine it as a joyous companion for impromptu moments that deserve a toast- no special date required. The concept was designed to reflect the high-quality, chic feel of the product, its versatility for drinking as a celebration, simply because you feel like it, and a modern and stylish lifestyle. This narrative reframes Broccato not as an accessory to a big event, but as a spark for celebrating life’s smaller, stylish, everyday wins. Inspired by the refined textures of its namesake, we made sure to weave together elegance and modernity for Broccato’s packaging, reflecting a sparkling wine crafted for those who turn any moment into something memorable. DAf ensured the brand would resonate on social platforms through its visual storytelling, aspirational positioning, and influencer-ready aesthetic.
DAf successfully positioned Broccato as a modern, lifestyle-oriented sparkling wine. By elevating casual, improvised celebrations and blending elegance with approachability, the brand speaks directly to a younger, experience-driven audience. The result is a brand that not only reflects the evolving culture around celebration but also opens new consumption occasions, affirming Concha y Toro’s innovative spirit within the sparkling wine category.
