Challenge

Viña Concha y Toro asked DAf to create several short videos for its Mi Pueblo line, an established brand with an approachable, everyday feel. The videos needed to reflect a sense of connection through relatable scenes that offer the Nordic viewer the sensation of being at home despite being shot in Chile. Additionally they needed to be created in 5 and 10 second bumper video formats to comply with television advertising restrictions in Nordic markets.

Solution

DAf created 4 moments of connection: a celebratory outdoor lunch, a scene of a couple moving in together, a casual outdoor gathering and a couple cooking. This resulted in a total of 11 videos due to the different lengths and the ability to feature different SKUs in the final product photograph. This allowed Viña Maipo to choose the most effective combination of wines depending on the country being targeted.

To achieve the right look and feel DAf collaborated with the local distributor to gain on the ground cultural insight, such as the tones of the wardrobe or the interior decor style with its use of natural wood and light neutral colors.
